The story
Built by a DBA who teaches DBAs.
SUTA is founded by Happy Afopezi - a Lead DBA with 10+ years managing PostgreSQL.
After years of training junior DBAs on the job, Happy noticed a pattern: new hires had certifications but froze when facing real production issues. The problem was not knowledge - it was practice. Nobody learns to swim by reading about water.
So Happy built SUTA Labs - a training program where students get real servers, real databases, and real chaos. The CBUSI methodology (Concepts, Build, Use, Survive, Interview) was developed through hundreds of hours of live coaching. SUTA brings that same battle-tested approach to engineers everywhere.
